Milnars
Pump Limited was originally founded in name of “KSB Pumps
Ltd” in the year 1961 as an affiliate of KSB Germany
with the object of boosting agriculture in the country. Its
factory was established at Tongi Industrial Area. From 1961
to 1971, the company assembled and manufactured Deep Well
Turbine Pumps and Centrifugal Pumps for agricultural and industrial
sector.
After
independence of Bangladesh, the parent company KSB Ag of Germany
took direct control of the company. Later in 1980, Islam Group
obtained majority share of the company and started its operation
under the name Milnars pump limited. In doing so the management
of Islam Group undertook major expansion as well as modernization
of its Tongi works while retaining the full technical back-up
and quality control of the expatriate engineers and skilled
personnel. The company with its skill and foreign trained
engineers and technicians are capable to develop any item
related to fluid transfer irrespective of its magnitude and
volume.
The
company’s present yearly production capacity is 20,000
centrifugal pumps, 1,500 deep well turbine pumps, submersible
pump, high pressure industrial pumps, domestic pumps of various
design and capacity. The company also manufacturers sluice
and non return valves up to 2500mm sizes.
