Essential
products Limited (EPL) is engaged in a wide scope of activities
in manufacturing of industrial, agricultural equipment and
domestic utensils to meet the country’s ever increasing
demands. Starting in 1967 as a small Gary iron foundry with
a foundry bed of 1000 square feet of area and a melting capacity
of only about 3 tons, the company has now emerged as the largest
foundry in the country.
The
company’s main product is manually operated shallow tubewell
pump, popularly known as hand pump and is meeting much of
the demands of government and non government sector. Its other
products are Bench Drill machine, Lathe machine, Flour Mill
chakki, Rice Husking machine, Cast-iron pipes and hand pump
spares and fittings, cast iron Grill for window, various fabricated
structural sections, Gas Burners and various jute pins like,
card pin, gill pin, meta pin, etc.
The
company is situated at Rupsi, 20 km north of Dhaka city and
is manned with high qualified engineers and dedicated technicians.
EPL was diversified in 1977 to produce quality electric Ceiling
fans of different sweeps to meet growing demands of consumer
market.
