With rapid expansion of Poultry related activities in the country, the necessity of a Feed Mill for commercial production of balanced disease free Poultry Feed was strongly felt. For the last two and a half year a modern Poultry Feed Mill is in operation with the capacity of 2.5 tons/hour palliated Poultry Feed. Within a sort span of operation there was great demand from the Poultry Farms because of its quality of international standard. To meet increased demand ABFL had to run the Mill for 20 hours a day producing 1300 tons feed per month. To meet the growing demand of the poultry farms AFTAB has chalked out an extension program of the Feed Mill to produce total 5,000 tons palliated Feed per month. The proposed expansion scheme is expected to be completed to go on operation by May, 1999. The expansion unit of the Feed Mill inter alia includes 2 nos. Silos of 1000 tons each with all modern monitoring appliances. The need for balanced and hygienic feed for poultry needs no emphasis. On commercial production of the Feed Mills one of the main anxieties for procurement of high quality of feed was solved. ABFL is pledga bound to supply the best quality feed products. ABFL Feed products are directly supervised by professional nutritionist. Every batch of Feed is being tested at AFTAB's own laboratory before supplying to the farmers.
